GAMP - Grupo de Amigos do Museu de Portimão
Who are we?
Founded in December 2014, the "GAMP - GRUPO DE AMIGOS DO MUSEU DE PORTIMÃO" is a non-profit civic association of cultural nature, aimed at enhancing the value, dynamism and promotion of the Museum of Portimão, in its valences, nature and museological mission.
What are our aims?
- To cooperate with the management of Portimão Museum in the implementation and development of its activities;
- To promote, through its own initiatives, the public knowledge of Portimão Museum and its cultural and scientific valences;
- To develop among its members social and cultural activities and actions to defend and enhance the cultural and natural heritage;
- To promote the enrichment of the Portimão Museum patrimony and its improvement in technical work resources, namely museographic, scientific, didactic, archival, laboratorial and bibliographic assets, in partnership with the Municipality of Portimão and the Museum;
